Phoenix Forge is made up of a team of highly trained and skilled Blacksmiths that specialise in producing work of true distinction both in the quality of design and in the quality of manufacture. This skill in the traditional craft of blacksmithing ensures a strict attention to detail which sets us apart from other metalworkers as we are able to use traditional hot forging techniques and processes to give us much greater freedom, form and expression within the metal.

At over a thousand degrees, steel becomes malleable enough for us to shape it in much the same way a ceramic artist can manipulate clay. This method of working with metal allows for interesting possibilities within the design process that would otherwise not be possible.

Phoenix Forge was established in Carmarthen in 2010 and is owned and run by William Holland. William trained for three years at the National School of Blacksmithing in Hereford, where they went on to graduate with distinction before going on to work for many companies in the industry.

The team has created many distinctive and unique contemporary and traditional designs, which they have brought to life using the traditional techniques of the blacksmith.

Phoenix Forge now has an impressive workshop set up that was purposely designed and is fully equipped to turn original designs into fully functional and high quality products using a wide range of traditional tools and modern machinery and along with the small team of highly trained craftsman Phoenix Forge is capable of manufacturing and installing metalwork to the highest standards both within strict deadlines and on budget.
